Rosh Hashana Services and Meal Options:

 

 

We will be hosting Rosh Hashana socially distanced services at TheSHUL - Chabad. Space is extremely limited and available on a first-come-first-serve basis. ONLY REGISTERED CONGREGANTS WILL BE ADMITTED. 

 

Friday Night, September 18: First Night 

Candle Lighting: 6:53pm 

Kabbalat Shabbat/Maariv: 7:00pm 

 

Shabbat, September 19: First Day

Shacharit - 2 timeslots 8:00am, 11:00am 

Maariv: 8:00pm 

Candlelighting: After 7:49pm 

 

Sunday, September 20: Second Day

Shacharit - 2 timeslots 8:00am. 11:00am

Mincha: 5:00pm

Shofar @ Dupont Circle: 5:30pm

Tashlich at Rock Creek Park (22nd and P entrance): 6:00 pm

There will be multiple shofar blowings throughout the day all around DC: near Ward Circle, Kogan Plaza, Lafayette Park, Dupont Circle, Stanton Park, Garfield Park, etc. Times will be posted on our website, and if you have a suggestion of another location, please let us know!

 

Rosh Hashana Dinner:

We are excited to announce our partnership with CharBar to bring Rosh Hashana meals to the community. We have created a special menu with them, and you can order on our website. (Link will be available shortly.)

 

Pickup will be available from both TheSHUL (Chabad) or CharBar on Friday, September 18. 

 

Again, please let us know how we can make this Rosh Hashana as meaningful as possible.
