WITH OVER 3500 AFFILIATED CENTERS ACROSS THE COUNTRY AND AROUND THE WORLD, REQUESTS FOR ASSISTANCE ARRIVE IN A STEADY STREAM, OFTEN URGENT IN NATURE
The desecration or threatened closure of a synagogue or Jewish day school, or the dedication of a new one, protocol and advice for visits and meetings with heads of state or government, navigation of bureaucratic mazes, preparation for conferences and events abroad, or even strategic advice on sensitive diplomatic matters - these are some of the fast-moving developments that require appropriate attention and experience, as their impact is crucial to community well-being everywhere.
American Friends of Lubavitch (Chabad) constantly provides important assistance and support in these areas. Chabad-Lubavitch emissaries and delegations are regularly hosted and assisted on their visits to the nation's capital, where our offices facilitate meetings with Members of Congress, senior government officials, diplomats and world leaders.
American Friends of Lubavitch (Chabad) also serves as a key liaison point between Chabad-Lubavitch and many other major Jewish organizations, as well as national and international non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
To date, the office of American Friends of Lubavitch (Chabad) has assisted with, organized and participated in meetings with Heads of State and Government in and from more than 60 countries on all continents, constantly working to serve the national and international Jewish community in this capacity.
